Awesome Upgrade for Manual Vehicles ONLY |

I was excited to see this upgraded console for the Miata and I longed for the day I could get more room in my interior. I have an Automatic - and wondered if this console would fit since everyone I asked didn't know, I figured why not try it and find out.
Before I even attempted this install I discovered one important fact: THE CUP HOLDERS ONLY ACCOMMODATE NORMAL SIZED SODA CANS! NO you can't use that big coffee tumbler from your fav coffee place, or a funky shaped water bottle.
Unlike the manual trans, the automatic has an elevated plate for the shifter and wiring harness runs along the R side. The factory console accommodates this w a large empty cavity. Unfortunately, the redesign doesn't account for the lift or the harness- thats where the solidly molded cup holders now reside.
If you decide to go for it, know that the install takes about 1 hr. You can find videos online to show you how.
