This is a robust new battery tray that replaces the flimsy and discontinued OEM part. Fully compatible with factory Panasonic batteries, and all direct-fit aftermarket batteries as well. Made of thick, durable ABS plastic, this battery tray will outlast any battery's lifespan many times over.

A broken battery tray can cause more issues than just a rattling trunk. If your battery shifts too far, the battery posts can come into contact with the tiedown bar or car body, causing it to short and wreak havoc on your electrical system. My OEM tray cracked a long time ago and I didn’t replace til my battery leaked acid all over the trunk. Wish I got this sooner.

Mazda no longer supplies there but this replacement is much better. Very heavy duty. Should last the lifetime of your Miata.
