Does your Miata cockpit or trunk smell like gas? It's very likely the fuel filler neck hose has deteriorated and is leaking fumes or even raw fuel just a few inches behind the driver's seat! This fuel filler hose can remedy the problem.

Installation is simple. Remove the protective panel in the trunk and just two clamps hold the hose in place. Make sure to check that the fitting on the tank itself is not corroded. Clean it (and refinish it if needed) before installing this new part.
