Miata Shifter Maintenance Package (Includes Bushings, Upper and Lower boots)

Refresh the feel and performance of your Miata’s shifter with this complete RSpeed Shifter Rebuild Kit. Over time, the factory shifter boots and bushings can deteriorate, allowing transmission fluid to leak, heat and noise to enter the cabin, and unwanted play to develop in the shifter.

This kit includes the essential components needed to rebuild and reseal the shifter assembly:

• Upper Shifter Insulator Boot
• Lower Shifter Turret Dust Boot
• Shifter Rebuild Bushings

Our replacement boots are manufactured from specially formulated rubber compounds designed to provide improved durability and a longer service life compared to the original factory components.

The lower shifter turret dust boot seals the base of the shift lever and helps prevent transmission fluid from leaking into the transmission tunnel and cabin. Factory boots commonly deteriorate or tear with age and mileage. Replacing this boot is especially recommended when servicing the clutch or performing other transmission work around 60,000 miles.

The upper shifter insulator boot helps seal the shifter assembly and keeps unwanted transmission heat and noise from entering the cockpit. It replaces the original Mazda insulator and is designed to provide long-lasting service.
