Standard headlamp replacements designed to improve driving visibility based on European headlamp technology. Brighter than a standard halogen due to improved optics without increased glare. Produces 50% more powerful low beam, 25% more powerful high beam The E Code low beam will yield about four times as much light down trail as a standard sealed beam and twice as much on high beam. A wedge of light on the right side lights up trail side features. These offer tight beam control and don’t spread light overhead like DOT conversions. That facilitates the use of upgraded bulbs without offending oncoming traffic. Hella E-code headlights conform to European Standards. Not DOT approved

I had been running rather cheap led halo style headlight last season, I liked them for a short time. Wasn’t really happy with the light they put out and didn’t care for the look.
I swapped them out for this combo and I love them. Era appropriate, clear, bright. Stock lamps are terrible, these seem much much much better.

Wow!  rSpeed does it again!  

These lights remind me of my 1985 Saab SPG with European Driving Lights.  The beam "cutoff" is crisp.  

You will need to adjust them once they are installed.  The difference will blow your mind.  There is no way you will "outdrive" these lights in a Miata.
