ND Smart Phone Holder May 31, 2023 Reviewer: Scott Englund from Tulsa, OK United States   Easy install and perfect position. My Samsungs case is a leather flip open ( book) type case that you have to fold back while using the phone. I was afraid the holder wouldn't be able to handle it but so far it's been just fine. Nice improvement May 14, 2023 Reviewer: Christopher J from Hillsboro,   There is still some improvements to be had with this item I think but overall it seems like a much more robust unit with welcomed upgrades. Good but so close to great. March 15, 2023 Reviewer: Joe from San Jose, CA United States   The interface with the dash is perfect. Solid as I could ever hope for but I would prefer two improvements: 1) that it held the phone lower so that the top of the phone was at the top of the mounting plate. 2) that the hole in the foot plate accommodated a charging cable. 1) can be accommodated by getting a piece of abs and mounting the clip at the top of it and the cradle at the bottom. 2) requires filing a notch out of the foot plate. The mount looks like its oem and belongs there January 26, 2023 Reviewer: Isaac D from IA United States   Really easy installation.  Originally received with a damaged phone holder or its quite possible I mishandled it somehow, but RSpeed didn't hesitate to rectify the issue immediately and sent me out a replacement!  The height at which it sits is perfect for peripheral vision.  Overall I'd recommend this mount over others as this does not use front cup holder slot, leaving you with space for your fav beverage.  Also the OEM look and fit to the base is top notch.  It doesn't shake or rattle at all.  Make sure to tighten the screw to the hook really tightly.  Tighten a bit and shake the mount back and forth/side to side in repetition -- Once you feel that the slack has been taken out completely you can stop tightening. IT'S GOOD BUT CAN BE IMPROVED October 12, 2022 Reviewer: Daniel Satalino from Chesapeake, VA United States   I was using the phone holder from MX-5 Things that goes in the cup holder on the passenger side but I like using that for drinks so I bought this one. One suggestion: The screw that holds the metal hook down has a head that is "way too soft".  I couldn't get the Phone holder tight using the enclosed screw driver so I used one with a slightly larger head but longer for a better grip. I got it tight but the top of the screw is partially stripped. This is a KEY component and should be made of better steel. Was this review helpful to you?
