Do you need to remove the valve cover on a 01-05 VVTi Miata? You'll need to disconnect the oil feed pipe in the back which has these two copper crush washers.

They can sometimes be reused, but after 20+ years replacing them is a much better idea to avoid oil leaks.

Sold as a pair.

I know, I know, “it’s just marking its spot”. But seriously if you open the VVT oil supply banjo bolt at the rear of the valve cover, replace these washers. It’s an odd size so you probably won’t find these elsewhere.
